The Workshop was held on July 30, 2024 – August 1 at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, and was organized by CRESP, MIT, Clemson and Vanderbilt.

Synopsis: Engineers and scientists that have knowledge and experience working with nuclear technologies and environmental protection and cleanup methods, are essential to support U.S. needs.  Because the existing nuclear-environmental workforce is aging and there is not an adequate pipeline of qualified personnel it is imperative that academic institutions grow existing educational programs or launch new ones that are focused on this field of study and are designed to meet the needs of governmental and industrial partners.
